Iwalani Han

Iwalani grew up in an Air Force family that spent many years in Germany, living in beautiful cities such as Bremerhaven, Berlin, and Munich. Her professional background spans across different industries to include daycare, banking, and information technology (IT).

Working in IT, Iwalani met her husband, Chris, and they recently celebrated 21 years of marriage. She enjoys quality time spent with family, embroidering and sewing, reading, and camping in quiet places where it is easier to hear the voice of God and witness the splendor of His creations.

After being a stay-at-home parent for 17 years, Iwalani was blessed with an opportunity to join Covenant’s staff and serve in Children’s Ministry. You’ll often find her family volunteering in Children’s Church on Sunday mornings and for children’s outreach events throughout the year. Iwalani finds great joy in walking alongside the children and families of Covenant during these formative and curious seasons of their faith journeys.

Iwalani feels that God led her to service at Covenant, that He has specific plans for her gifts and contributions, as well as her personal growth and relationship with Him. She is enthusiastic for creating personal connections with everyone she meets and enjoys creating opportunities that welcome new families to Covenant.
